Some Guzan lovers (although I suspect it's more a case of not wanting to be wrong) on Twitter are adamant it was lescott's fault and nothing to do with Guzan. How deluded are some? Yes lescott could and should have dome better, but it was a typical rush of blood by Guzan and he panicked. The guys a liability. He's heads gone and it has been for a while. It's been a few seasons now since he was a good keeper for us.

Not getting an EPL goal scorer and a proper keeper was a big error by everyone at the club.

Aye. Not something we can blame Tim for either, as he claims he wanted both.
