Blatter, Platini and Valke suspended from all football related activities for 90 days. (this can be extended by no more than 45 days). So that's bye bye Blatter and possibly Platini. It's about time.

Even after the story of the 'disloyalty' payment came out the FA were still saying that they would support Platini's bid to be FIFA president presumably because there wasn't really a viable alternative. It shows the problems of the current FIFA structure and how difficult it will be to get something new lead by an untainted leader.

I honestly believe that Blatter and his cronies behaviour over the last few years has damaged FIFA beyond repair. RIP FIFA, let another untainted organisation be formed to run world football.

I think the above article is a bit of a non story for Infantino. UEFA sold off TV rights to the highest bidder and Infantino signed them off as was his job requirement at the time. It's what was done with the paperwork afterwards by the successful bidders that may have been dodgy, and as such is nothing to do with Infantino. Certainly there is no follow up to this today, which would indicate "nothing to see here".

I think this story is an indication that there's no future for FIFA. It has to be wound up and replaced by an independent organisation of professional managers, who are prepared to do an honest job for a decent salary.

We have to get rid of the people who see FIFA as a gravy train, and run the game of football for the benefit of the players and spectators.

At the moment too many 'delegates' are involved purely to dip their snouts into the rich trough which is thrust into their faces. It has to end, and it has to end now.

Not good is it? The way FIFA executives have behaved in recent years I'm surprised they have an ethics community. They must think ethics is where Colchester United are from.

The FIFA delegates wouldn't know where Colchester is. It doesn't have enough five star hotels.
