Reports over the weekend that Manyoo's people and his people have got together for a meeting.

I have to say that he seems like a strange appointment if it happens at all. In fact, I hope it doesn't happen because it'll be all "me me me." If they win a game it'll be all about him. If they lose a game it'll be all about him. If they lose a run of games it'll be all about him with defiant statements about how the club would never sack him.

He was like a breath of fresh air when he first appeared in England. These days he's merely an irritation.

I wonder how Mourinho's football would go down at Mould Trafford. Of course, it might be looked upon as an improvement considering how bland Van Gaal's team has been.

Mourinho should be given a two year non renewable contract wherever he goes. The "Mourinho effect" has been proven to have a clearly defined 24 month time span.
