Aye. Think we may have to accept he and Gil can't play together too often. Too similar but both very effective individually. Impressed with Ayew this evening too. Has a bit of swagger about him, where as before he's had his head down and looked petrified. Fans chanting his name seemed to really lift him. Good lad!!

I'm getting a bit nervous. Blues coming back into it a bit.

Great second half and well played Jack and Ayew. Both superb and turned the game on its head.

Well played Tim as well. He saw it wasn't working and made the changes early and the right ones tonight.

Good result in a tricky tie. On we go. Wembley Wembley!!

See you in 4/5 years Blues Hahahahaha!! UTV

I want that team that played second half to play every week. Ayew & Grealish were eminence, Veretout looked the best I've seen him second half.

Thank fuck for that!

We, fans, manager and players, needed that.

Grealish was MOTM for me. Tim has perhaps got changes wrong in the last couple but got them spot on tonight. Well done to him. It's encouraging for us just when we had started to question him. In fact, so much about that second half performance was encouraging. Ayew had a difficult start but rivalled Jack for being our best when they both came on. Maybe he can now make an impact now and I was wrong to think we got the wrong brother? After the first half Veretout was showing why he wasn't getting a game, second half he was much improved. #betterwithoutgabby.

I know we were playing a Championship side but I think that provided us enough encouragement and boosted our confidence to provide a springboard over the next few games.

If we could play like that, add in Traore somewhere and we would scare the shit out of any premier league defence.

A special mention for Veretout. He didn't get any chance to get on the ball in the first half due to the bizarre team that Tim started with, and the hoof ball tactic which bypassed midfield. Second half he knitted the whole midfield together with some really good zipped passing. Some of his forward balls were inch perfect through small gaps. Signs of a good partnership with Gana when he's fit. SLV, I saw your "Veretout is shit" comment and I totally disagree.
