Gabby looks like he is older than he really is.

I think Gabby's problem is lack of understanding, football awareness.
The game has developed and he hasn't.
Some loose passes out of the back.
Sanchez, Lescott look strong, solid performance from both.
Bacuna looks exposed, I might be tempted to put Hutton on him.
Amavi has kept Mahrez quiet and the little Japanese player is tricky.

Haha! Cheers

Good first half that. When was the last time we looked so safe at the back? Lescott has immediately brought some organisation with his undoubted quality and leadership. Richards has been superb for me. Still think there's more to come offensively and with a real outlet and someone to hold the ball up and link with Gil and Jacks clever interplay we would look even more threatening. Trying not to be too harsh on Gabby here, he's worked hard, however for me the game is largely passing him by as he just isn't clever enough to find space or work with the creative players behind him. As I said, he's worked hard though!!

Overall, great first half and you can see great signs. Sanchez has worked really well in front of the back four and allowed the otters to play. Now let's stay strong and organised at the back and take advantage of the space that will open as they try and press us. Chances for Gabby and Sinclair on the break if they're on their toes.

Great finish by Jack, curled around 3/4 defenders. Plenty more to come now the first has gone in I think....UTV (oh and greet work by Richards at that corner)

I am starting to see the green shoots of a developing team, wouldn't be surprised at the odd step back to take two forward though.

It certainly looks like we have potential but I have seen that before and been let down.
I really think that after the 1st International break is when the season really begins.

For the first time this season I have that lovely half-time giddyness I get when we're leading and playing well.

Leicester started the second half like a train. We need to pull things together.

We need a period of possession to take the sting out of an express start by Leicester (or a goal)

A goal here would kill them off, so Sanchez goes for a Hollywood special

How many times do we or have we won the ball from a long goal kick?

Hardly ever. Guzan's kicking is awful. They seem to go out along the touchline more often than they go to a Villa player!
