QPR V Villa: Saturday 3PM

Post by Sandie on Fri Nov 17, 2017 11:49 pm

Back in action after the internationals, and it's against QPR who have recently beat the top two so not an easy encounter.

We are also limited to kids as our first choice strikeforce and are down our captain and star centre half. Who will play up front, who will be at the back and can we get three points? All will be revealed.

Hi guys, I'm back in the land of the living after a bout of norovirus which put me flat on my back for a week. I've definitely lost weight! Very Happy

We need three points, but I'm not sure which Villa will turn up.

With Hutton (RB) and Samba in the back four we're going to need to be extra disciplined. Davis needs to turn potential into goals now.

A valuable three points with an attacking performance, but it took going behind to change our mindset. At least we showed we can come from behind and win.

Still far too negative with our subs at the end though, it just invited pressure which was a shame after being all over them previously. We didn't need to invite them to have a free hit at us.

26 shots on goal is definitely not like us.

We played decent attacking football between the period just after conceding until about the 75th minute, then the "what we have we hold" siege mentality was enforced with three defenders bought on for three attackers during the last quarter. It was nervy and could easily have cost us two points. One day we will realise that we don't have to fear teams that we've been bossing around the park for the previous hour.
