Aston Villa v Sheffield Wednesday 3pm Saturday.

Post by villabromsgrove on Sat Nov 04, 2017 1:32 pm

Here we go again.

Bruce says that this is going to be a really tough game. Will this be reflected in the team he puts out? Forestieri is out which is a real bonus for us, Boyd is also missing.

Will we give O'Hare a start if Snodgrass is ruled out, or will Hutton move to RB (could be problematical) with Elmohamedy pushed forward to RW and Taylor in as LB?

I'm going for a tight win for Villa.

What do you reckon guys?

Only change to the starting eleven is Hogan in for the injured Onomah, so we shall see Davis and Hogan up front in tandem.

Grealish and O'Hare make the bench.

2-0 down so we definitely need to score the next one. We seem rockier at the back with Terry missing which isn't surprising, but O'Hare has just come on for an injured Snodgrass, so perhaps we get at Wednesday a bit more now. C'mon Villa!

Half time and we are 2-0 down. We need the players to give the team talk and fire each other up with some serious chest thumping battle cries!

Well that was disappointing. Plenty of huff and puff of the disjointed variety, but no visible organisation by the sound of it.

Samba our default striker scores in the 96th minute and we lose 2-1. Cue Bruce with his "if only we'd taken our chances" script. Not good enough.

5th metatarsal is about 2 months minimum, more often 3 months. We could do with Baker now.
