One minute left, and it looks like Villa are going to win the derby having had only one effort on target. We've won and I'm p*ssed off! There needs to be a revolution at BMH!

If it's any consolation, I don't think Birmingham have a better chance of three points in their remaining games. If Blackburn pick up some points it could be relegation for them and Redknob.

Blues may go down this season, but personally I think Blackburn have just a fraction to much to do. However playing Villa next match could be a gift for Blackburn, the way we're playing.

My concern is that we look like a very poor team with a few decent individuals, we are apparently getting worse by degrees each time we play.

I really believe that the problems and solutions are to be found at Bodymoor Heath. Things have to change dramatically before we kick off for next season.

They have to be, because something that is screwing us is a lack of continuity. Not necessarily managerial continuity but the way when we change managers they all seem to buy whole new XIs of players whilst simultaneously failing to weed out less than positive influences.

Really, we've got to the point that we just need to add a bit of quality and weed out a few who aren't up to the challenge and we would have the tools to challenge.

In other news, 'Appy 'Arry is not, it seems, happy:

But, in spite of the deep taste of bitterness, also not wrong.

I've seen enough derby games to know that they are rarely classics, but yesterday's game plumbed new depths of ineptitude. When even Bruce says that it was the worst we'd played all season, and that the ball was complaining about being belted continually, you know it's bad. When Bruce goes on to say that it didn't matter because we won .... that worries me. When he enthuses about Gabby earning a new contract that frightens the hell out of me.

Yes it's important to "win", but Bruce hasn't just failed to change our on the pitch competence during the time he's managed us, he looks totally incapable of doing so in the future.

Robinson has been charged by the FA with violent conduct after his kick and punch on Chester were missed by the referee.
