Fulham V Aston Villa: Easter Monday 14:45

Post by Sandie on Sun Apr 16, 2017 3:49 pm

Tough game this, especially with us having less rest time before it. Who should be rested and will we get a much needed return to winning ways?

I'm not embarrassed to say that at the moment, who plays is not something that I get excited about. Fulham will be really up for it ..... will we also be fired up and ready to go?

We'll see .... Sky TV 2:45pm kick off.

2-1 or 3-1 loss, unless we focus on a total team performance.

We can't handle Fulham's pace. 1-0 Fulham but it could be more.

Kodjia sent off for "handbags", but if you put your foot in to someone when they're on the floor, you are risking a red card. Stupid reaction by Kodjia.

It's getting predictably poorer.

I think that the word for Villa is "predictable".

Every manager knows what we're going to try to do, and knows how to set up against us.
Fulham's manager is getting the best out of Fulham's collective and individual ability, Stam is doing a similar job at Reading. Villa's footballing intention is quite frankly embarrassing at the moment. The coaching has to improve.

The general consensus Amongst forum fans is that we are "clueless". I have to say that I can't discern a shape or game plan during the 90 minutes. Even when we went on our winning run it was down to one individual and dour resistance against poor or average teams. As soon as we play better teams we are indeed clueless! What do we do all week at Bodymoor Heath?
