Rotherham United V Aston Villa Saturday 4th March 15:00

Post by Sandie on Fri Mar 03, 2017 11:40 pm

After two wins, we have a trip to the league's bottom side. Can we make it three out of three (after five straight defeats)?

We have to win .... I've lost count of the times I've said this historically, but today it's true. If we can't beat the worst team in the Championship we might as well give up.

How can we lose with the planning and cunning of a manager who's just said in an interview that he expected his loan keeper to make mistakes? Why blo*dy sign him then Steve?!!!! Mistakes will be the only thing to stop us winning today, and we're good at making them!

3-1 Villa away, I must be mad!

Bjarnason looks like he'll play down the left in front of Taylor, so I expect plenty of cutting in from him. Could be dangerous against Rotherham.

I'm trying to dredge up some anticipation for this game, but sadly it's more a case of "let's get another game over", roll on 5pm.

0-0, we've had a couple of chances but no goals so far.

Bjarnason off with a knee injury, replaced by Grealish. We'll be running out of midfielders with this rate of attrition.

Rotherham have had 55% possession. Villa really don't like having the ball much do they.

Grealish went off on 44 minutes with an injury and was replaced by Amavi .... I missed that in all the excitement!

Nice description .... We should trade mark "Drab Fayre" and put it on the Villa badge!

We've started to press a bit, but it's now 65 minutes, with Rotherham having more possession than us until the last couple of minutes.
