ASTON VILLA V BRISTOL CITY

Post by Jim Villan on Tue Feb 28, 2017 12:33 pm

It will be interesting to see if the luck that Villa had on the weekend will have been enough to give the players and the manager a bit of confidence. Hopefully Bruce will be Bhoyed by getting a win and hopefully take the shackles off for this one and be a bit more positive. I think we might win this one 1-0.

We have to win if Villa are going to keep the fans onside. Lansbury is talking about a lack of player understanding, but stressing that they'll take winning "ugly" for now.

I can't predict the result. I think it'll probably get decided by luck and mistakes.

Why can't we just put in a good performance once?

Even to win ugly, you need to have committed players performing to a high standard. I'd take it but it isn't what we saw on Saturday. That was just luck.

Seems like its more of the same, shame we've missed a pen that won't help our nervousness. At some point it would be nice if we can play some good football however I
I would take a win of any means.

Goal Adomah assists Kodjia this has been our most successful combination all season, Adomah has to stay in the side, common Villa lets show confidence and make this convincing.

It wasn't a wonderful performance but it was a lot more like it which I'm very happy with. Are we starting to turn the corner?

Sorry I missed it guys. I went for a lay down on my bed and fell asleep and woke up at 10pm! Another win with ragged football. As Jim said .... "why can't we play some good football?"

By the way, sleeping through a match is far less stressful.
