I would expect to see max effort today from the likes of Gardner, Westwood and Bacuna today, as they know Bruce is in the market for effectively their replacements in Jan.

Obviously the absence of Jedinak means we're trying to get as many men in midfield as possible. Even McCormack is happy to play from deep.

Grealish bought down but no foul given. Do you remember Warnock saying that Grealish goes down too easily? Maybe the Referee was listening!

Bunn catches the ball and goes out of play with it! Corner. Well worked corner, leads to another corner. Scramble in the goalmouth 1-0 Cardiff .... scruffy goal.

We just cannot handle set pieces. Sign Pontus Jansson!

Bunn is dreadful, being behind him in the pecking order must be crippling Gollini's confidence.

We are apparently getting out fought and look lightweight.

McCormack is isolated without a Villa midfielder within 20 yards of him most of the time. Westwood is probably furthest forward and that's not going to help Ross much.

With Ashley Westwood as our midfield lynchpin I'm not surprised. It's become increasingly apparent that Jedinak IS our midfield and being without him today is only proving that. Why the hell can't Tshibola get in this team?

Cardiff aren't mucking about. It's route one every time they get the ball. Nearly scored again just now!
