1-1! Former Villa man Jamie Ward scores a good goal. We've had plenty of possession without ever appearing to be in charge.

Villa look disjointed as usual. No real flow because we still can't string more than two passes together.

Burton are playing like the home team at the moment. Let's hope we can hit them on the break. Bruce is evidently doing his nut on the touchline!

We have to play better than this. When you look at the team sheet, we have easily the best set of eleven players. It begs the question .... What the hell do we do on the training pitch?

Burton look much the better "TEAM"!

Getting outplayed at home by Burton is far from good. i think we might just nick this one but we need new additions to up standards.

Gardner injured so Grealish replaces him.

Bacuna hits a cracking cross, Kodjia manages an air shot, Adomah skies the ball when he should have scored. It sums up Villa at the moment. Still 1-1.

Unfortunately McCormack's second to every ball.

Our first corner arrives in the 56th minute, and it's a stinker which nearly allows Burton to score.

Hutton was out of position upfield for Burton's goal, and he's just been caught out again with Burton fortunately only hitting the post instead of scoring!

McCormack at last! Wonderful run and cross by Ayew, and McCormack bundles it into the net. 2-1 Villa!

Gabby loses the ball in a key area, Dyer nearly scores again .... Still 2-1!
