For my money, the return to fitness of Mile Jedinak has been crucial to our mini-revival of recent weeks, more than any of the new signings.

I think you're right and I'm pleased for him that he's back on form.

We've not lost a game where all three of Jedinak, Chester and Baker have played.

Samba and Bedeau will make an unlikely pairing.

Anybody seen much of this: http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-midfielder-gary-gardner-12753927 ?

I wouldn't say we have much of a style.

Where do people stand on this tackle from Taylor on Seamus Coleman?

I haven't watched the tackle Sandie. Since the Luc Nilis horror injury I tend to look away when these things happen. From what I've read it was an over committed tackle made by a hyped up player in a feisty match between major rivals. Knowing Taylor I would be surprised if their was any malicious intent. The result however was very sad for Coleman who I admire tremendously.

Should we try and sign Johnstone permanently? It would have been a categorical "no" from me a few weeks ago, but the recent clean sheets are giving him more confidence. I still see his inexperience as a problem for next season, but should we take a chance on him or not?

Bruce is certainly keen, but it will leave us in the same situation we had with Gollini. If we go down that route then we need another experienced keeper to compliment Johnstone.

Gollini had a good run of form too before he was bombed out.

Gollini is probably a better long term prospect than Johnstone, but neither keeper is right for the key job of marshalling a Championship defence. We need a big experienced keeper between the posts next season.

I tend to agree on that one. That's not to say we can try to develop a long term number one but the pressure of our imperative to gain promotion means gambles should be avoided.

If you look at Sunderland, their number one keeper is a very promising young keeper named Pickford. They will almost certainly get relegated.
