Westwood has been dropped .... not far enough for me, but at least he isn't starting. Gestede and McCormack to give us fresh legs in the last third of the game. C'mon Villa!

I wouldn't have brought Grealish straight back into the team, especially if his behaviour was deemed bad enough for him to be suspended. We looked very cohesive late on on Saturday with Gestede and Kodjia up front and Ayew out wide. I also suspect he's gone with Cissokho over Amavi as he doesn't trust Grealish on defensive duties as much as he does Ayew. Amavi looked good on Saturday.

Amavi is unlucky to be benched, but I would use him for the last half hour along with Gestede and McCarthy to run Barnsley's tiring legs ragged.

With Grealish playing just behind Kodjia it sounds like our shape is closer to 4-2-4 than 4-4-2 which is giving Barnsley loads of space to break through when our attacks break down. We need to get our shape right before Barnsley get lucky.

This game is impossible to get coverage of, it seems.

I'm listening to it on bbc radio WM fm. We've apparently got no shape and are sitting to deep. More of the same by the sound of it. We probably need to bring on Gestede and knock long balls forward hoping to get a lucky bounce off. We don't seem to have a plan to make more than one pass before losing it at the moment.

We've had a couple of chances in the last five minutes by the sound of it .... C'mon Villa!

Sky have just shown it. It was pretty much an individual effort.

Gestede for Tshibola may have had more of an influence.

It's the same old story with us bottling and conceding late too.
