Fixtures including TV alterations

Who needs the Premier League! Including the League Cup (Luton away match) we're on TV four times in the first six weeks.

We'll probably be on TV more often next season than we were last.

This needs sorting. It's a blatant rip off that cannot be tolerated.

Villa have already been found out, and the season hasn't started yet. A brief check on the Official AVFC site won't tell you that we're playing two important warm up games today. If you're a detective you might get a clue from a tiny bit half way down the page about the availability of Telford tickets.

There is no AVTV coverage .... not even audio or text! It doesn't exist if you're a Villa fan! Wake up Wyness and Co, give us some coverage and make it decent. This is 2016 .... Sky start broadcasting in 4k in less than a month!

Oh .... we're 0-1 down after a mistake, and Gollini may have done better according to the Mail text.

One of the most important things off the field for the new owners is to sharpen up our communications.

The official site can't be bothered to publicise these games (other than as a footnote in the tickets news), so here's a list of our remaining pre season friendly matches.

Wed 20th July 7:45pm .... Bristol Rovers away.

Sat 23rd July 7:00pm .... FC Nantes away.

Tues 26th July 7:30pm .... Cambridge United away.

Sat 30th July 3:00pm .... Middlesborough home.

https://www.avfc.co.uk/News/2016/07/22/fc-nantes-friendly-live-on-website?

AVTV are going to show the game without commentary (they sacked Jack!). You can register for free and don't need a subscription for this one.

What a half arsed way to run a major club, this is 2016 not the dark ages. My local store is better run and they're going bust! .... message to Dr T and Wyness .... get your fingers out and provide a proper service to the fans. This is becoming a joke!

Showing a game without commentary? This is looking a bit like a shambles. Is Jack going to be replaced?

They need to replace Tommy Jordan as 'Head of Communications' and they need to find a new service provider for AVTV. Sacking Jack would only have made sense if he'd been replaced immediately with a real professional, but it seems like it may have been part of the pre Dr.T cost cutting plans, rather than an intention to improve the service.

Whatever the reason, it still makes us look like an incompetent bunch of amateurs!

I assume that to view this you need an AVTV subscription?

My Season card arrived the other day and the password to the AVTV subscription found itself filed in the bin. Just like every other year, in fact.

No need for a subscription, you just have to register.
