Yes great read VB really looks like the foundations are now in place to move forward as a a Football club. Steve round certainly seems to have a very broad perspective of the technical makeup of a modern day, top level, professional football club.

I was impressed by Round's many actions in such a short time. Each change and appointment will take us in a positive football related direction.

I was going to mention that, the same report is in yesterday's programme (I was reading it on the train home!). Round comes across very, very well. Like someone who knows what he's doing. He also acknowledges that at the moment we are looking at short term measures whilst trying to bolster certain areas and develop a Villa ethos which is something I suspected. It makes me believe we have a far more positive future ahead once, to recycle Steve's metaphor, the ship has been turned around.

I think that Round's blueprint depends to a great extent on continuity. That makes the character and ability of his appointments exceptionally important.

It's been some time since we had a reason to post on this thread. Luke has found us a "yet to be named shirt sponsor", and is given glowing accolades in this article.

I note that the companies he's worked for such as Lotus and Ricoh have had more than their share of bad financial publicity. Wasps on the other hand have done well, albeit on a much smaller fiscal stage.

Villa are between a rock and a hard place at the moment with the damage done to our reputation over the last few years, so I won't judge Luke too harshly in the coming months.

You'll note I didn't mention his snigger attracting surname .... I'm bigger than that!

I'm sure MR Organ will get our commercial affairs in tune.

I wonder who our new sponsors are?

http://wasps.co.uk/news/article/2016/08/03/wasps-ricoh-arena-agree-landmark-partnership-with-ericsson

This is last year's announcement about the Ericsson sponsorship that Luke Organ secured. Could it be a similar deal, with perhaps a renaming of the North Stand included?

Not the kind of thing you want from our CEO. It has jeopardised a key time in our negotiations with players that we need to move on.

It was a silly retweet that got him into trouble, but if you agree on twitter that refs in the Championship have "disabilities" you can expect the FA to jump on you.

By the standards of some of the officials we had last season it's very offensive to the disabled.

I've just read an article where Wyness is saying "I talked to a lot of experienced people in football who thought we might drop a division". He appears rather smug that we stayed up and proved them wrong!

We should have been battling for promotion Keith like Newcastle !!!!!! Our management mindset is unbelievably limited and negative.
