We had almost too many defenders, so they just stood and watched and expected each other to do the job. This team is only comfortable passing sideways and backwards, anything else is out of their comfort zone. Villa define "going through the motions". Where's the passion, where's the interest?

I'm certainly not feeling any. We're 1-0 down to Bournemouth and on the brink of relegation and I'm not even bothered enough to shrug my shoulders.

It's obviously Lyden's fault. I thought he was one of our better players.

If Black wants to win the fans back over he is staggeringly wrong in how he's approaching it.

Palace leading means we have to wait until next week for confirmation of the inevitable.

We've scored!

I know, I didn't believe it either.

It just prolongs the agony. See what happens when you take Richardson off and put on some young blood Eric. These players actually take the ball in the right direction.

Well, we did our bit but Norwich can never get anything right. That's another week we've wasted.

Let's be honest, none of us would have been dumb enough to start with that team. Why do people who have been in football for years, have terminal brain fade when they're put in charge of the Villa team? It's unbelievable!

We've known for weeks that the only way out of this huge mess was to attack for 90 minutes and pray for luck. All except the idiots who pick and prepare our team. Black was still talking about everyone helping not to concede as late as yesterday. I said at the time that it was obvious he was going to play yet another defensive team.

Eric Black also said that he wanted to give the fans their pride back. Are you having a laugh?

The only defensible reason is that he wanted those players to get some stick. Surely he can tell from the fans reaction to them that players like Lescott, Richardson, Guzan and Bacuna have passed the point of return with the fans as a consequence of their stupid behaviour and low standard of performance?

I would like to think you were on to something, but this article shows that he thought this was our best team and he was pleased with the set up of the players! We lose for the 11th time at Villa Park this season and he's "happy with their effort and desire to do what we asked them to do". He's not living on the B6 planet is he?

We really aren't going to have much to cheer on the rest of this season, are we?

Nothing to cheer at all unless he receives instructions from Bernstein to stop playing the wasters.
