Aston Vill V Crystal Palace: Tuesday 12th January at 7:45PM

Normally I'd do a short preview but I anticipate nothing but disappointment.

0-3 Palace win. Sorry!

Ouch!

I should text this Match day discussion intro to the fantastic Mr. Fox. It demonstrates the state of Villa under his oversight better than anything.

Needless to say I'm going for another gutless disorganised loss.

They might surprise us. I mean, surely even we have to win another game some time?

I read what Remi said about the players "perhaps not being good enough to do what he requires", but has it occurred to him that every time he names his team the potential match winners are left on the bench. These players may not be the finished article but they have abilities that most of his selected first team can only dream about. Traore's injury makes this less of a factor, but in the previous weeks it was very relevant to "not being able to win matches". Garde needs to realise that a lot of things that he says aren't happening are because of decisions he makes.

I'd like to think we're not going to get our arses kicked. I'd also like a go on a 30 year-old Demi Moore and that ain't gonna happen either.

I've spent an enjoyable few minutes looking at pics of Demi Moore .... time well spent, so thank you for using that analogy Chris. Very Happy

Hands up anyone who thinks we can still avoid relegation.

I've said a number of times recently that we're already gone .... but I find myself thinking "what if we win tonight and beat Leicester at the weekend?"

It's not going to happen, but it shouldn't be totally impossible for a Premier team to go out and snatch a result!

If we could only discover the balls and application to go out on the pitch and die for the shirt .... I can dream can't I?

Villa to win 2-1!

I've finally lost it. clown

That's the trouble with being a fan rather than a customer. I'm thinking irrationally .... I know it, but it keeps happening.

If we didn't have hope, what would be the point of being a fan and spending fortunes supporting them?

It's been so long since we won a game I've forgotten what it feels like, would love to have that feeling again tonight.

It might be some kind of sixth sense. Tonight might be the night of our second league victory!
